Bernie's Race Timing strives to be more than just a timing business. Our vision is to make a difference in the lives of others and in our community. Bernie's Bear Hug program is our chance to make that impact. Bernie's Race Timing is named after my mother, Bernadette, which means "Brave as a Bear." The Bear Hug program will give the gift of a teddy bear to children who are in need of a smile. We want kids to know that they are as Brave as a Bear even during their hardest fights. Bernie bears are 6 1'2 inches tall, super soft and cuddly, and wear a Brave as a Bear shirt. Bears are brand new and individually packaged so they can be sent to children's hospitals in our area. Money raised through the Bear Crossing Virtual 5K/10K will go towards our teddy bear fund to help us purchase and ship our Bernie bears.

All participants will receive a Bear Crossing Virtual 5K/10K dog tag medal, Brave as a Bear wristband, Bernie's Race Timing & Bear Crossing Virtual 5K/10K stickers. Once you have registered you will be able to access the virtual bib section of this site- customize your number, print and go!
