Race Purpose:
The purpose of the Gladwyne V.F.W. Veterans Run is to: foster patriotism in our community, remember our veterans and the veterans that came before us, and to raise funds for veterans events as well as Post maintenance and repairs.

Awards:
25.00 Gift Certificate to Bryn Mawr Running Store for the best male and best female times. All runners will receive a piece of Veterans Run swag.
Entry:
Price before race date (40.00); after that date/day of race (50.00)
Amenities:
The course will begin at the Gladwyne V.F.W. parking lot and proceed East on scenic River Road. At the end of River Road, the turnaround point, we will have a water station. For those that want to walk, there will be a turnaround point a half mile down River Road. The course takes you along the railroad, past beautiful homes, views of the Schuylkill River, and Flat Rock Park.
Each runner will get a piece of Veterans Run swag as a memento. There will be name tags available to display the name of a veteran you are thinking of during your run.
Before and after the run, there will be water, coffee, and snacks available outside. The V.F.W. Canteen will be open after the run with snacks available. We will be raffling a basket of cheer! Stay and enjoy a favorite cocktail, socialize, and see the progress we have made rebuilding our V.F.W. Post.
