General Info: The 8th Annual Grateful Gallop presented by GCAFCU will take place on Thanksgiving Day at 9:00 AM in Grove City, PA. The race starts on Greenwood Drive and travels along the Hunter Farm bike path. The Grateful Gallop 5k supports the Grove City Community Food Pantry! There will be a donation box to collect non-perishable food and toiletries.
Packet Pick Up: Pre-race packet pickup will be at GCAFCU (1600 S. Center St. Ext.) from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Tuesday 11/21 and Wednesday 11/22. Race day packet pickup at the start/finish area from 7:15-9:00 AM.
Awards: There will be no awards ceremony on race day. Awards will be mailed to the Top 5 Overall Male and Female finishers, plus the top 3 in the following age categories: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over. Please allow 2-4 weeks for awards to arrive.
Refreshments: prepackaged refreshments provided at the finish.
Course: Flat & Fast. There will be a water station near the halfway point. Men's course record: Jed Christiansen 15:18 (2017). Women's Course Record: Eden Slater 19:12 (2021).
Timing: This race is being chip timed by Wolf Creek Race Management.
Parking: Parking will be available at the Grove City College Colonial Hall lot where the old Middle School used to be.
After registering for this event, you will receive a unique referral link that you can share with your friends. If one of your friends registers for this event through your unique link, you will be credited with a referral. If you reach a total of 4 referrals, you will be refunded your entire entry fee! In order for a registration to count as a referral, it must be a separate transaction from your original registration.
