Sandcastle 5K & Kids Fun Run - Presented by Steel City Road Runners

The Third Annual Steel City Road Runners Sandcastle 5k and Kids FunRun is a fun, family friendly race around the historic Sandcastle Waterpark. The race course includes an out and back trip across the beautiful Sandcastle Boardwalk! Included with registration, 5K  participants will be receive a commemorative race shirt and 1(one) Sandcastle park pass to be used during the 2018 season. Register by May 24 to guarantee shirt size. Sandcastle park pass may be used on race day.  On-line registration closes June 28. 

Additional discount tickets are available for purchase during race registration. The race will start and finish next to the scenic Monongahela River.

Overall prizes for the first 3 male and female finishers, and age groups awards will be given. Overall Male and Female winners will receive a Sandcastle season pass!

Children (asges 3-12) participating in the Kids Fun Run will receive a special participant finisher award and a park pass! Kids Fun run is not timed.

Packet pick-up will be race day only, starting at 6:30 am. Race day registration is available, $40 per registrant. Shirts based on availability.

All runners (including Kids Run participants) and spectators should be in the parking lot by 7:30am. Those arriving after 7:30 will have to park near Costco and walk all the way around to gain access to the park.
