This year is special at the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust: we are celebrating 50 years of open space! To celebrate, we are offering 3 events: 1 mile walk, 5K and 10K. This 3rd annual trail run/walk will help protect the 852 acres of open space the Pennypack Preserve encompasses (which has increased from 828 acres in 2019). The funds will help to sustain the wildlife habitat, native plant communities, and spectacular views that are becoming increasingly rare in southeastern Pennsylvania. PERT is partnering with the Bryn Mawr Racing Company to provide a great experience in the Pennypack Preserve!
Course: A scenic, rolling hills course on grass and gravel that is great for both beginners and “seasoned” trail blazers. The courses begin and end at the headquarters. Since this is a run on nature’s trails, the course will be as close to 1 mile, 5K, and 10K as we can get it!
Race Results: Race will be professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Co.; Results will be found at http://www.brynmawrracing.com
Your race entry fee includes a race t-shirt! Guarantee your size before 4/1/20. Refreshments, prizes, and music after the race.
Children 12 and under are free.
