In Memory Of 5k

5K Run/Walk will be held to benefit the American Brain Tumor Association. For 40 years, the ABTA have been providing comprehensive resources that support the complex needs of brain tumor patients and caregivers, as well as the critical funding of research in brain tumor diagnosis, treatment and care.

Our event is in memory of Karen Cramer, but I'm sure everyone has their own person to memorialize. Karen passed away in 2011 due to Glioblastoma Multiforme, the most aggressive form of brain cancer. We need to fight for a cure for the brain as much as we do for breast cancer.

PLEASE NOTE:  BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF RUNNERS, WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING WALKERS WHO WOULD LIKE TO JOIN THE CAUSE.  THE REGISTRATION HAS BEEN CHANGED TO $15 FOR ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE AS A WALKER.  NO TSHIRT IS GUARANTEED TO ANYONE WHO HAS NOT SIGNED UP BY THE MAY 1ST DEADLINE.  WE ARE STILL HOLDING THE EVENT AND WILL STILL HAVE THOSE WHO SIGNED UP TO RUN, DO THE RUN AND WILL STILL BE TIMED AND PLACED.  SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE, THE EVENT JUST DID NOT GO AS WELL AS PLANNED FOR BEING A RUN.  WE STILL CANNOT WAIT TO HAVE A WALK AND BASKET RAFFLE TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE AMERICAN BRAIN TUMOR ASSOCIATION.
