The Kennett Run Charities has reached its 29th year of giving back to the community which has always been center stage. Take part in supporting our great community and register for one of our exciting events.
Anson B. Nixon Park which is located in the northeast quadrant of the Borough of Kennett Square, on N. Walnut Street. Registration opens at 7:00 A.M.
Lifting for 5K & 10K PoweRun: 7am - 8:40am
10K Run & 10K PoweRun: 9am
5K Run/Walk & 10K PoweRun: 9:20am
1 Mile Run/Walk: 9:25am
500 yrd Kids Fun Run around the pond: 10am
Packet pick-up will be at the Kennett YMCA on Friday from 4pm to 7pm. Day of packet pickup will start at 7am at the race site.
For the 10K & 5K Run Events: Awards go to 1st , 2nd , and 3rd place male & female runners in 10-year age groups, starting at 9 & under through 70 & over.
For the 10K & 5K PoweRun Events: Awards go to 1st and 2nd male and female adult and 1st and 2nd male and female youth
NOVA Timing Systems will have QR Codes to scan to verify your chip time and finish position. You can pick up your award at the post race party in the main pavilion in the park
All awards are final and will not be mailed to winners.
Tech shirt will be given to the first 800 registered participants
A festive post-race party will be held at Anson B. Nixon park. Food and beverages will be provided for participants. Non-race participants will be able to purchase food and bevarage.
We strongly discourage unofficial entrants (bandits) from competing in our race. Bandits consume scarce resources and can delay or inhibit accurate race results. Unregistered runners, running with dogs and strollers, rollerblading, riding a bicycle, and the wearing of headphones are prohibited on the race course at any time, to ensure runner safety and to comply with liability insurance standards.
