Upper Merion Mini-THON Color Run

Join us for Upper Merion Mini-THON's second Color Run on May 5! This run will take place at Gulph Elementary and the neighbouring Baxter Fields. Check-in will begin at 9:00am where the goodie bag will be handed out. The race then begins at 10:00am. Please give yourself time before the race will begin, as we will be discussing the race beforehand. There will be a final mega color toss after the last runner finishes so please stick around. This will be around 11:00am. I would also like to encourage everyone to stick around after the race as there will be food, refreshments and live music from Upper Merion's famous Pep Band that plays during our basketball games!

The race is a half 5K or about 1.6 miles.

Register by the first deadline, April 26 to receive a T-Shirt. Registrations received after this deadline will NOT be guaranteed a t-shirt. The price also increases after the first deadline. We will allow sign ups the day of the race, but you will not be guaranteed a t-shirt or the sunglasses. 

Each participant will receive a goodie pack containing a Color Run T-Shirt, so no need to bring your own white t-shirt. You will also receive For The Kids (FTK) sunglasses. These will help protect your eyes during the race from the colorant.*

The race is open to participants of all ages and we welcome you to invite friends and family to run alongside of you! Children 5 and under are free! Although they will not receive a t-shirt. Processing fees are paid per transaction, not per runner. I would encourage you to sign up multiple people at once to save on these fees!**

The race is going to be held May 5 and we are going to do our best to hold this date. In the case of any inclement weather the event will be rescheduled and you will be notified promptly via email. 

This event is held in conjunction with Upper Merion High School's Mini-THON, which is a six hour dance marathon on May 11 from 4:30-10:30 pm. The dance marathon is a miniature version of Penn State's THON. All of the money we raise as a school goes to the Four Diamonds Fund which helps raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer. All of the proceeds from this run will contribute to our Mini-THON total and donated to the Four Diamonds Fund. *The colorant used during the race is colored powder that is non-toxic. It is made from food grade cornstarch and food coloring. It is completely safe with no environmental or health effects. We train our volunteers to aim the color run from the neck down so you get as much color as possible on your white t-shirt!

**Registration fees are charged by transaction, not by runner. They are based on the total charge at time of checkout. Save on fees by registering multiple runners at once. Checkout Total Fees: $10.01 – $30=$2, $30.01 - $50=$2.50, $50.01 – $250=6%, $250.01 – $1,000=5%.
