The 2019 Rally for Recovery 5k is the first scenic road race in the area! The race will start at the Piper Building in Lock Haven and end at the Castanea Picnic Grounds. The route will take you through a short stretch of the City of Lock Haven and then evolve into a route that is surrounded by farmland and the beautiful Bald Eagle Creek. The route is designed for the competitive runner to walkers who are out to support the cause.
This race will be professionally timed and the start of the race will accommodate those competing. When finished, runners and spectators will be welcomed by free food, drink, music, and games to celebrate. Plenty of parking is available. No need to worry, the start and finish areas are connected and easily accessible for spectators. Access for spectators to Castanea Picnic Grounds (Finish) during race time must be by way of East Bald Eagle Street. You must register by 8-2-19 to receive a t-shirt.
