Bark in the Park Dog Walk/5K Race

Grab your four-legged running buddy and get ready to race: Saturday, October 29th, the Bark in the Park 5K race —complete with a pre-race yoga class, food trucks and a puppy kissing booth—will take over Media’s Rose Tree Park, and you and your pup are invited.

Human runners and dog runners alike will take to the rolling park hills  for the 5K portion of the day, which will be followed by a post-race fall festival: think food trucks, a DJ, dog contests galore, and more.

All runners will get a snazzy prize, plus, the first male and female runners to cross the finish line will go home with a trophy. Timing and race management provided by Run the Day.

Click here to register. The cost is $20 to walk and $25 to run.  Price goes up after 9/15 and on race day.  All proceeds from the event will go to Providence Animal Center, a 501(c)3 pet adoption and wellness organization. Happy puppy kissing, people!
