Description
Join us for a memorable 5k run/walk and 1 mile fun run through scenic and paved Ridley Creek State Park! Our race theme will be YOU ARE A SUPERHERO! Come complete with a cape and be entered into a raffle for a special prize!
Participants registered before September 10 will receive an Orphan Day 5K tshirt. Kids finding one of our "superheroes" along the Fun Run route will receive a sweet treat and winners in each age category will be awarded medals. Cup of Compassion Coffee, yummy treats, and bottled water will be available before and after the event.
Help us to raise funds and awareness to support and provide schooling opportunities for orphan children in Liberia and Uganda. Compassion Corps exists to help imagine and realize the good that can be done when compassion is harnessed. CC believes in working together to assist and aid those who are suffering. With your help, we can not only send these children to school, but provide at least one meal a day for them, with your entry fee alone!!
