Description
Join us for the inaugural "Jonah Hart Memorial 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk" on Saturday, October 5th. This event is organized to commemorate the life of Jonah Hart, a beloved member of our community who bravely faced glioblastoma, a terminal brain cancer, and passed away on October 2, 2023.
All proceeds from this event will directly support the programs at Cancer Bridges, including grief support, support groups, short-term counseling and more. Cancer Bridges is dedicated to providing comprehensive support services to individuals and families affected by cancer. Your participation in the run or walk will contribute to funding vital resources, counseling sessions, and support groups tailored to help individuals cope with the emotional challenges of losing a loved one to cancer.
By participating in this event, you honor the memory of Jonah Hart and pay tribute to his courage, strength, and spirit in the face of adversity. Jonah's legacy lives on through the support this event provides to others facing similar battles and the memory of his resilience inspires us to come together as a community to make a positive impact.
The "Jonah Hart 5K Run and 1 Mile Memorial Walk" is a family-friendly event, welcoming participants of all ages and fitness levels.
