The Steel City Showdown is an obstacle course race within Allegheny County. Henry Kauffman Family Recreation Park is 100+ acres of wooded property in the heart of Monroeville. The terrain of Western Pennsylvania will take you through hilly slopes, mixed deciduous forest, and dense thickets.
This course is designed for the beginner and the more advanced racers. Come conquer the course and make it you vs. you or come and play as a couple or a team of friends, family and/or coworkers for a team-building experience and some good laughs.

Steel City Showdown - Inspired by the Steel City Spartans
Adult (13+) heats begin at 9AM. The 9AM heats will give you the opportunity to run on a fresh never seen before course. It may even take you through a stream, past buildings of a time gone by, through television sets, etc.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION WILL BE ONSITE AND WAVE TIME TBD BASED ON PARTICIPATION
The course will be 3-5 miles through the fields and hilly forest of Henry Kauffman Family Recreation Park.
KIDS Race begins at 9am and 10:00am for 8-12 year olds (1+ mile)
9:30am and 10:30 am for the 4-7 year olds (1/2+ mile)
Please arrive 45 minutes prior to your Wave start time
