Restore the Shore 5k

General Event Information________________________________________________________________________

Restore the Shore 5K will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 9:00 AM at the Sunken Garden Trail in Moraine State Park. The trail is located near the park office (225 Pleasant Valley Rd, Portersville, PA 16051). This event is a great option for your first trail 5k! The Sunken Garden Trail is a non-technical trail with beautiful scenery including views of the lake! Race day registration will begin at 7:15 AM and conclude at 8:45 AM. Stick around after the race for some refreshments, the gift basket raffle at 10:00 AM, and the awards ceremony at 10:10! This event benefits the Moraine Preservation Fund, a volunteer, non-profit organization that works to improve Moraine State Park.

Custom Restore the Shore medals will be given to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female finishers. Medals will also be given to the Top 3 Finishers in the following age categories: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. 

Race Shirts_____________________________________________________________________________________

Participants must register by Thursday, June 8th at 11:59 PM to receive a race shirt.

Sunken Garden Trail at Moraine State Park. There will be a water station along the course.
