2 Mile Walk
1 Mile Run For 14 And Under
The 2026 Kinzua Bridge Challenge will feature a 10K, 5K, 1-Mile Run, and 2-Mile Walk, all using a staggered start beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 9th. All races will start and finish at the Center Street Trailhead on the Mt. Jewett to Kinzua Bridge Rails-to-Trails, with each course running out and back. Proceeds from the event benefit the Swedish Festival Association, which partners with the Mount Jewett community to host one of the largest festivals in the county.
Scholarship -The Mount Jewett Swedish Festival Association donates race proceeds to support the Penn York Oil and Gas Scholarship at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford for Energy Science students. Any remaining funds will be used to promote economic development, education, innovation, and community revitalization in the Mount Jewett area.
Packet Pickup - Only Race Day packet pickup will be across the road from the Mt. Jewett VFD from 8:00am to 8:45am!
There will be parking located at the Mt. Jewett VFD station 10.
Restrooms - There will be portapoties located at the event and at the festival area.
Water Stations - There will be a water station located at both the 5k and 10k turnarounds.
