Description
The Sweetest Race is an event for the entire family with all you can eat ice cream sundaes served after the race. All proceeds benefit both the North East High School Scholarship Fund in memory of Debbie and Laurie O'Neal and the North East High School Cross Country Team.
Prizes will be given to the overall 5k walk and 5k run winners in both the male and female divisions. Individual male and female for the 5k run only will be given to winners in the following age groups: 80+, 70-79, 60-69, 50-59, 40-49, 30-39, 20-29, 14-19, 10-13, and Under 10. The remaining prizes will be raffled off to all participants based on their bib number!

Race Map
The course remains unchanged from prior years. It is mostly flat, with only a few slight changes in elevation. One hill exists, on which competitors will descend after the first mile, and run back up towards the end of the 3rd mile. The route stays within the residential borough of the town, and will be both well marked and well populated with helpers to guide each individual.
