Description

Welcome to Vets & Pets 10K, 5k Race & 1 Mile Dog Walk/Run Presented by PACT for Animals

PACT’s Vets & Pets event is one of our biggest & most fun fundraisers. The proceeds from this event will benefit PACT for Animals’ efforts to keep people and pets together. PACT gives peace of mind to Vets and pets: hospital patients, and military personnel by placing their pets into temporary foster homes until their owners can be reunited with the devoted companions they love. PACT is the only organization of its kind. PACT has facilitated the placement of more than 3,000 companion pets and approved more than 1,400 foster homes in all 50 states.

We'll have race t-shirts, medals for the fastest runners, a pet costume contest, and more!

Whether you choose to run, walk or you're just in it for the T-Shirt, you'll be saving lives! Your race fee* will directly impact all pets in need, whether their owners are Veterans receiving much-needed medical care*, or our current Military putting their lives on the line for our country.  Our program keeps loving companion animals out of overcrowded shelters and with their owners when they return.

The event is held in collaboration with some outstanding county-wide partners, including The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department, The Montgomery County Veterans Affairs Department, The Montgomery County The Hero Fund, The Kennel Club of Philadelphia, and The National Dog Show.
