Looking to score an entry one of our sold out events? Are you unable to participate after signing up for one of our events? Relief is on the way. Schuylkill River Runners (SRR) gets that things happen---we get injured, training didn’t go well and unforeseeable conflicts – life happens and we get it!
The SRR transfer program allows you to transfer your bib to someone else. It is important to go through the proper transferal channels because every participant needs the correct information in case of a medical emergency. Giving someone your bib without following the proper procedure impacts the results and those who are caught doing so may be barred from future races.
Transfers must be completed at least three (3) weeks prior to race day to ensure SRR has enough time to make corrections/changes to our database. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Here’s how the SRR runner-to-runner transfer program works:
1-Find someone looking to transfer their bib. You could use our social media outlets, but we CANNOT assist in finding and connecting runners, but all the resources are available for you to do so.
2-Make a connection! Once you’ve found someone for the transfer, the registered runner must initiate the transfer by emailing schuylkillriverrunners@gmail.com to complete the transaction. The registered runner will need the full name and email address of the person they are transferring the entry.
3-The new runner (transferee) who will be receiving the bib via transfer will be emailed to complete the process. The new runner must complete the information to finalize the transaction. Any additional items (e.g. pasta dinner) CANNOT be transferred and are non-refundable.
4-Time to settle the score. When transferring an entry, the original runner does not receive a refund on their bib entry fee or any race swag so the transfer partners must determine between themselves how to cover the original registration payment.
Same event/same runner transferal. Event-to-Event: Runners have the option to transfer their entries to a different distance event, as space allows. Runners going up in distance will be required to pay the difference in registration fees. Event-to-Event transfers will remain open until three weeks before the event. Please email schuylkillriverrunners@gmail.com to complete the transaction.
