What are Scoogie Events? 

Scoogie Events creates fun, family friendly & community driven running events with a unique positive vibe unlike any other running event! We want to bring folks together in a meaningful way, get friends and families outside to enjoy our beautiful area that we live in. 

Do I have to run to join? 

Absolutely not! Boogie with Scoogie is a totally groovy family friendly event in which we encourage people of all ages & all abilities to come and just have fun! 

Is the course stroller/kid/dog friendly?

Yes! This is a family friendly event and we encourage stollers and kids (event the four-legged ones!). Route 263/York Rd will be closed just so you can Boogie with Scoogie. 

Do I have to finish on the Slip -N- Slide?

We will have a HUGE slip-n-slide for the most EPIC finish ever! Of course, the slip-n-slide is optional, but who doesn't want to?

Will I get a shirt?

If you register before the t-shirt deadline, you are guaranteed a t-shirt!
(Deadline is generally 1 month before race day)...REGISTER EARLY TO GUARANTEE ONE! 

What kind of SWAG & awards are there?

Every finisher in the 8k and 5k will receive an AMAZING finisher medal! We will also have awards in the following categories:

Overall Winners (Top 3 Male and Female)

Top 3 in the following Age Categories: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-29, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. All award recipients must be present at the awards ceremony.

No awards or packets will be mailed.
