Thank you for joining us this past Sunday at the Navy Yard for the very first Corremos Philadelphia!

It was incredible to see our community come together to support Independence Charter School. Whether you were sprinting for a personal best or enjoying a morning walk with friends and family, your energy made our inaugural race a truly special event.

Because of your participation, we are able to continue supporting the Take Flight program, fostering global citizenship and Spanish immersion for our students. Seeing the sea of runners out there reminded us of the strength of the ICS community and the shared commitment to our students' futures.

This event would not have been possible without the dedicated team of volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.

We want to give a special thanks to our Course Marshals and our general event volunteers. The Marshals brought incredible energy, cheering at the top of their lungs and ensuring every runner was steered in the right direction. Meanwhile, our other volunteers handled everything from early morning setup to handing out water at the finish line. Your collective hard work and enthusiasm kept the race running smoothly and safely for everyone!
