March of Dimes Run for Babies and March for Babies

Thousand of families and business leaders will join together in the March of Dimes’ annual March for Babies—the nation’s oldest walk fundraiser to support the organization’s work to prevent premature birth and other infant health problems.  Prior to the walking event, Run for Babies will be held.  This 5K and 10K running event combines benefits of physical activity, community involvement and personal giving.  All runners will receive an official race number and chip timing.  The course is a certified USATF.  The Run and the March begin at the Philadelphia Museum of Art with the course continuing along scenic Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.  

Registration for the run begins at 7:00 a.m. with the run starting at 8:00 a.m.  Registration for the walk opens at 8:00 a.m. and the walk kicks off at 9:30 a.m.  Participation will provide a memorable and rewarding day for the whole family including live music, refreshments, a Kids Zone with costume characters, special activities and fun for children and more.
