Join us for the Inaugural Momentum 2-Mile Run — a fun, energizing way to connect with fellow conference attendees, get moving, and keep the momentum going beyond the summit. Funds from this event support our Pay It Forward Scholarship Fund. By contributing to this campaign, you are helping us invest in the next generation of Black scientists, engineers, and innovators who will shape the future of STEM.
Whether you’re a runner, walker, or somewhere in between, all paces are welcome. Come for the miles, stay for the community and good vibes!

- Early Packet Pickup: November 14th Billy Penn Studios
- Race Day November 15th 7:30-7:50 AM: Onsite Packet Pickup (non-conference attendees only)
- 7:30 AM: Welcome
- 8:00 AM: Fun Run Start
- 9:00 AM (tentatively): Award Ceremony

STEM So(ul)cial
STEM So(ul)cial is a social enterprise dedicated to increasing the representation of Black people in STEM fields. We provide a sense of belonging and create safe spaces for Black people in STEM through social networking events, personal and professional workshops, and membership programs. Our mission is to provide financial support and resources to individuals who are underrepresented in STEM. At STEM So(ul)cial, we believe that diversity and inclusivity are essential to the success of the STEM workforce.

Pay It Forward Scholarship Fund
At STEM So(ul)cial, we are excited to announce our Pay It Forward 2026 campaign, aimed at raising $3,000 to fund 6 $500 scholarships for Black undergraduate or graduate STEM students. These scholarships are designed to break down financial barriers, helping students pursue their education and career goals in STEM fields. Black students are often underrepresented in STEM, facing unique obstacles that can hinder their progress. With the Pay It Forward 2026 scholarships, we aim to not only provide financial support but also foster a sense of community, mentorship, and empowerment.
