Training for the UPMC Health Plan Pittsburgh Half Marathon is in full swing. Jump-start your training with the annual Half Marathon Kick-off Training Run hosted by the Steel City Road Runners.

Location: UPMC Rooney Sports Complex - 3200 Water Street Pittsburgh
Distances: 3-5 and 7-10 mile loops will be available to accommodate all training plans. Various paces will be offered.

*In partnership with GNC, professional runner Waverly Neer and Registered Dietitian Amanda Bright will host a brief Q&A to cover proper Half Marathon preparation, followed by stretching led by Waverly.
POST-RUN REFRESHMENTS: Please note: bananas, Honey Stinger gels, NuGo Bars, water, Gatorade, vitamin chews & hydration packs will be provided post-run.

PARKING: Please note, there is very limited parking at the UPMC Rooney Sports Performance complex. Additional parking can be found in any of the SouthSide Works surface parking lots or garages, with a short warm-up walk over to the facility.
