Welcome Back, Middle School Families!
Pittston Area Middle School Beautification Project
Beautiful landscaping and clean facilities push students in the right direction by giving them a wonderful space to work and grow in. We want our students to come back into school knowing that they’re worth something because someone took the time to take care of a place they call home for eight or more hours of the day. Along with encouraging students to be more involved in their school day, beautification teaches students how to be more respectful of the environment and clean up after themselves.
A project of this magnitude, however, comes at a very high price. To ensure that our students are greeted with a warm, loving environment, we must come together as a community to raise the necessary funds.
Community events bring much excitement and collaboration, but we must be inventive and creative in our current situation. Together, let us participate in a virtual race. The event, PAMS 5K Santa Trot, will be held virtually beginning today and ending on Sunday, December 27th. Let’s challenge ourselves to set some records or simply survive the 5K event.
Grab a friend, or several friends, and lace up your sneakers….It’s time to raise some money for the Pittston Area Middle School Beautification Project!
What? Virtual 5K Race (Participate wherever you'd like!)
When? Sunday, December 27th
Cost: $25 for adults, $20 for students aged 19 and under.
T-Shirts: A unisex t-shirt is included with your registration.
How it works: Run your 5K race wherever you'd like on the race date and submit your time results to srcraceresults@gmail.com.
Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top overall male and female as well as the top overall male and female for the age groups below:

50-59
60+
