Hailey's Forever 8

Hailey's Forever 8 will be held on Saturday August 3, 2024 at Ridgway’s Rails to Trails in memory of Hailey Mae Matheson. In 2020 eight-year-old Hailey passed away after a tragic accident. Hailey's life continues on in memory and will forever impact our community through a scholarship set up by her family.  All proceeds from this race will be directed into the Hailey Matheson Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Elk County Community Foundation. The scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior in our community. Hailey's Forever 8 will consist of an 8K run or 5K walk on the Rails to Trails. Tickets can be purchased at the event for basket raffle.
