Who is the best watershed group in Armstrong County?
Come support your local or favorite watershed organization!
Information event and registration starts at 8am, and the race starts at 9am!
Run or walk a 5K on the Armstrong Trail in support of your favorite watershed group.
Don't like to run/walk? Come hang out at the event and learn more about the organizations and donate in person.
Please note that the race address has changed from last year.
Special Pricing:
- Sign up by July 31 for early bird price of $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under
- Starting August 1: Adults $30 and children 12 and under $15
- $5 discount per person when registering a family of 4 or more
Watershed Groups in Attendance:
- Cowanshannock Creek Watershed Association
- Crooked Creek Watershed Association
- Kiskiminetas Watershed Association (2023 Armstrong Watershed of the Year!)
- Roaring Run Watershed Association
There will be options to add donations online as well as baskets for additional cash donations at the race. The watershed organization who receives the most donations will receive the Armstrong County Watershed of the Year Award from the Armstrong Conservation District.

(Donations to these organizations will only be accepted in person and will not be part of the watershed fundraising contest):

PA Fish and Boat Commission and other organizations will also have informational booths set up.
Sign up by September 1st to guarantee a race T-shirt!
All proceeds from the race will go towards your selected watershed organization.

This is a flat out and back 5K run/walk on the Armstrong Trail starting at the Schenley train car.

Directions
The race will be located on the trail near the Schenley Trailhead. You will be able to park at the trail parking area. Please contact us if you have questions about the location.
The race itself will start on the Armstrong Trail beside the train car.
Organizations will be set up around the trail for you to visit and donate
