LV Collegiate Alliance for Vets VIRTUAL 5k Ruck 'n Walk

Join us VIRTUALLY, this year, for our annual 5K Ruck ‘n Walk to honor veterans during Veterans Appreciation Week. Join Lehigh Valley colleges, universities, businesses and community members VIRTUALLY as we Ruck OR Walk 5K to recognize and honor all veterans throughout the Lehigh Valley. 

Registration is FREE!  DONATIONS ARE ENCOURAGED!

*Donations will go to Tails of Valor Paws of Honor.

Here's how it works:

• Choose your challenge - 5K Ruck OR Walk! Ruckers are encouraged to carry at a minimum 10% of their body weight.

• Choose your team - Join your favorite college or university team and help them move to the top of the leader board with your participation!

• A digital race bib will be automatically assigned and emailed to you. 

• Choose your route - Ruck OR Walk your 5K (3.12 miles) anywhere! In your neighborhood, on the trail, around the track, on a treadmill.

• Choose your date and time - Ruck OR Walk anytime between Nov. 7-13. 

• Choose your tracking device - use your Fitbit or try Strava or RunKeeper to track your 5K!

• Submit your results - Results can be submitted anytime before Nov. 14 23:59. Optional: Upload a selfie of your tracking device as you cross your finish line!!

• Don't forget to download your finisher's certificate to show off your achievement!

Awards:

• All registrants who submit their results by Nov. 14, 23:59 will be entered to win one of ten $50 gift cards and a Rally towel!

• The college or university team with the most participants who submit results (Ruck and Walk challenge combined), earns a plaque to be displayed on their campus and BRAGGING RIGHTS!

• The company or organization sponsor team with the most participants who submit results (Ruck and Walk challenge combined), earns a plaque and BRAGGING RIGHTS!

• The top female Rucker with the fastest 5K time will win a $100 gift card, a Rally towel and BRAGGING RIGHTS!

• The top male Rucker with the fastest 5K time will win a $100 gift card, a Rally towel and BRAGGING RIGHTS!

*Donation will benefit Tails of Valor Paws of Honor, a 501(c)(3) organization, whose program is dedicated to providing rehabilitation through non-medicinal therapies with service canines to Veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and physical disabilities.
