Sasquatch Preservation Trail Run 5 & 10 K

The 13th Sasquatch Preservation 5K & 10K Trail Run returns to the FNLT preserved South Branch Farms on Saturday, September 7th, with both races starting at 9:00 AM sharp!   

Once featured as one of Runner’s World magazine’s America’s Top Trail Races, The Sasquatch is 99% off-road with cross-country and trails on mixed terrain and elevation across FNLT preserved farmland, woods, pastures and streams. Wildlife is abound with birds, chipmunks, deer, turkeys, owls, foxes, coyotes, snakes and…. yes runners have even seen sasquatches!  

The 10K has some steep climbs including OVER the historic Howard Tunnel / Rail Trail.  Both runs have a delightfully refreshing crossing of the Codorus Creek near the finish!  As OG course designer Rob Kinsley put it, “If you’re not wet and dirty, you’re disqualified!”  

Post race fun includes a light lunch from White Rose Bar & Grill, fruits from Flinchbaugh’s Orchard & Farm Market, beer sampling from Brewery Products (21+ with ID), that good York Water and cool down with your fellow runners.  We're working on something extra for the kids to enjoy as well - stay tuned!  These fine businesses DONATE to this event and FNLT - be sure to in turn support them!

Preserving land sure is freakin' cool but sheesh, trespassing is not... this is PRIVATE property, so please - no trying to run the course before or after the race.  Since this is an active farm, please NO ANIMALS to be brought to the event.  Due to the terrain, no strollers. Please carpool if you’re able.

Register online here and now (with an added fee) or send a check with the registration form to FNLT.  Pricing is $30.00 through August 26th - lightweight breathable shirts are an additional $8.00 per person.  After August 27th the price increases to $35.00 with no shirt option (we do not do additional orders) – so register NOW!

Early packet pick up is at Flying Feet Sport Shoes starting Thursday, September 5th or earlier - registered runners will get an email when packets are delivered.  Flying Feet is located at 1511 Mount Rose Avenue in York, PA.  Thank them for all they do in our community!  Race day registration starts at 7:30 AM.
