Remington's Celebration 5K

Registration starts at 6pm at the Rotary Pavilion in the Slippery Rock Parks and Recreation area.  The 5k run and walk will start at 7 pm. Yes, this is a Monday evening race. 

Join Remington in celebrating his first 5K (3.1 miles) post surgery!!!!!

Remmy was riding in my Jeep Wrangler Friday May 9th heading to Moraine State Park when my Jeep hit a bump in the road and tossed him out the window.

He was rushed to Ohio State University for emergency surgery and discharged Tuesday May 13th.

6 week follow up x-rays are on Monday June 23rd at our Vet here in Slippery Rock. His vet bills have been quite expensive. So this is a fundraiser to help off set those costs.

Remmy cannot wait to get back to his normal routine of running, hiking, walking and playing with all of his friends. This event is simply to just celebrate him and his full recovery.

We hope you are able to join us in either running or walking the event or doing a little bit of both.  

Dogs and people are Remmy's favorite things in life.  Friendly dogs are welcome to run/walk with owners on leashes along the course.  Please be sure to be courteous in picking up after your pup.  Be sure to bring your pup's proof of rabies vaccination to registration.
