Description
Welcome to the inaugural Run Santa Run 5k in South Park. This is the newest location of the famous Run Santa Series with other Pittsburgh locations in Cranberry and Oakdale along with those in Ohio and West Virginia. Every year, thousands of runners and walkers dress in their FESTIVE BEST and fill these races with Santas and elves. We know that South Park will be an amazing addition to this series.
As with all Pittsburgh Run Santa Run 5k's, we will be collecting toy donations for Amachi Pittsburgh to support their work with local kids in need. Full details on Amachi and their mission can be found below.

All participants will receive a soft and comfy pair of Run Santa Run fleece pajama pants, a Santa hat, and a custom finishers medal (image TBA soon).
AMACHI PITTSBURGH TOY COLLECTION DRIVE
Once again, GCXC is proud to support Amachi Pittsburgh. Amachi Pittsburgh raises awareness and delivers services to give children a fighting chance in Allegheny County-- when the community is knowledgeable about the challenges that they face, children have the support they need to thrive. This awareness creates policy-level change so that youth are unburdened from a system that has made them more vulnerable to the criminal justice system.
Please help us support Amachi and bring an unwrapped toy for a child aged infant through 18 years old. These gifts will be distributed to children throughout the county during December and hopefully bring them a sense of support and joy during the holiday season.
