Steelman Racing Virtual Challenge: Race the State
Do you need a challenge to right now? Then Race the State is for you! Choose from three possible time frames to complete the 350 mile trek across the state of Pennsylvania (without actually running across the state) by running, biking, walking, paddle boarding or whatever! Test your endurance by doing any of these activities, and then record your miles to show your progress across the state on a virtual map. Every time you share your progress on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitters with the hashtag #STEELMANRACETHESTATE, you will be entered into a weekly drawing to win gift cards to local business, Steelman Racing sponsors giveaways, entries into future Steelman Racing events, and awesome Steelman swag. But wait, it gets better! All Race the State athletes earn a $20 credit to the new “Steelman Store” where they can choose the swag of their choice. Also, every time you get a friend to join the Race the State Challenge, you can earn money back from your registration, awesome right? SO, the time is now and the challenge is yours, are you ready to show Race the State that you are Steelman Ready?

Steelman Racing Kids “Loop the Lake” Virtual Challenge
Do your kids need a goal for this summer? Then “Loop the Lake” is for them! Kids can run, bike, walk, skateboard, skip, or whatever for the 20-mile trip around Lake Nockamixon (without actually traveling around the lake)! Kids can burn off that extra summer energy by doing any of those activities and then recording their miles to show their progress around the lake on a virtual map. All kids that enter get a T-shirt and medal. SO, who is ready to have fun this summer and show they can “Loop the Lake” and be Steelman Ready?

Submitting Activities
How to Submit Activities:
1. Log into your RunSignUp Account
3. Click on "Submit Virtual Results"
After each activity where you gain some miles, you can click on the “Results” tab and then select “Submit Virtual Results.” There you will be able to lookup your registration and submit your miles. You can submit as many activities as you want. Within a couple of minutes of updating your activities, your new total mileage for the challenge will show on the public results board. There you will be able to see where you rank and your progress across the state. You may do this anytime during your challenges time period, but remember to submit all activities before 11:59 PM on the last day of your challenge if you want your results publicly displayed.
