2022 FCVC Fall Float

Enjoy the beautiful fall foliage surrounding French Creek as we travel from Venango to the new boat launch at Bertram Park in Saegertown, PA. Average paddle time is about two hours. Registration closes Monday, September 26, 2022. 

**If FCVC cancels the event due to weather, participants will be refunded their registration fee. 

All participants must be pre-registered. Only 50 paddlers will be permitted.

**You must provide all of your own paddling equipment (boat, paddles, safety equipment, etc.) 

*All paddlers must wear a life jacket and carry a whistle. Solo paddlers must be age 12 and up. All minors MUST be accompanied by an adult. 

Schedule: 

8:00-8:30 -Check in at Venango launch Saegertown, PA and shuttling of participants and vehicles. 

8:30-9:00- Welcome from Brenda Costa and safety briefing. 

9:00-11:00-Paddle from Venango to Saegertown. 

11:00-11:30- Snacks and FCVC and River of the Year merchandise available. 

Parking and logistics:

• Before the event: Participants will drop off their boats and equipment at the Venango launch. Participants will then drive their cars to Bertram Park. A shuttle will be available to bring drivers back to Venango for the start of the paddle. 
• After the event: Participants will enjoy snacks at Bertram Park.
