BUCKS COUNTY TEN MILER: gotta get back in time
This year’s Bucks County Ten Miler returns to our future,
running on the Delaware Canal Towpath from Washington Crossing Historic Park
WE ARE RETURNING TO OUR ORIGINAL COURSE on OUR ORIGINAL DATE
(the one that starts the same place the Bucs Marathon Starts and the same date as the mega-race in Philly)

TIMING: ChronoTrack B-Tags, Participants exceeding 88mph may experience interruptions in race results
ADVANCED PACKET PICK-UP: TBD
DAY OF RACE PICK-UP: Near the starting line beginning one hour before the start.
We expect this race to sell out. Do not wait to register.
FIRST STARTING WAVE: 9:00 AM LAST STARTING WAVE: 9:04:30 waves are :30 seconds apart
TIME LIMIT: THE COURSE WILL CLOSE AT 11:03AM (14:52 per mile pace)
HYDRATION STATIONS: will be located at 1.25, 2.6, 4.6, 5.4, 7.4 and 8.75 mile marks
COURSE: The race will start at the General Greene Pavilion of Washington Crossing Historic Park with about a half mile of paved roadway then enter the Delaware Canal State park towpath heading north.
The turnaround is north of the Thompson Neeley House. The last half mile will be on the same paved roadway as the start as this is an out-and-back course.
The towpath is narrow. The surface is packed argillite (like an old high school cinder track) Please don’t ask if you can bring your dog or a stroller.
Delaware Canal State Park is open to the public. We do not have exclusive use of the towpath.
PARKING: We should have enough free parking just a 465 yard walk (if everyone parks respectfully) to the starting line
FIELD LIMIT: The runner field will be limited to 500 participants
SWAG: A commemorative race t-shirt will be given to all pre-registrants and to late registrants while supplies last. Finisher’s Medals will be given to those who earn them.
AWARDS: Plaques to the top three men and women overall, and in these age groups:
Under 20, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & Older
*awards categories subject to change depending on pre-registration
AND TO THE THREE BEST THEME APPROPRIATE COSTUMES BY CROWD APPROVAL
WEATHER: This is a rain or shine event. In the event of rain the towpath may be muddy in places.
FOOD: Provided by Gabriel II’s Pizzeria. Ask anyone who has been to this race, we probably have the best post-race food of any area race. Please be advised that food is for runners only and we may not be able to accommodate specific dietary needs.
