What is a virtual race?
A virtual race is one that you can run, walk, use a treadmill, etc., and can really do from anywhere. Just like an in-person race, you’ll have a commemorative t-shirt, downloadable race day bib and a finisher medal to go around your neck to celebrate your success. This event is about being healthy, having fun and doing something that will give you a sense of accomplishment. You’ll have the freedom to run your own route and at your own pace on a day/time that works for you. Be sure to maintain the recommended minimum of at least six feet of social distancing and local regulations. Most importantly, you’ll be able to join others who wish to pay tribute to our Capital Health Heroes and be part of something special.
This is a Virtual Run/Walk. You can complete the 1-mile virtual run/walk, 5k virtual run/walk or the 10k virtual run/walk anytime between Friday, June 12 – Sunday, June 28, 2020.
You’ll have the freedom to run your own route, at your own pace, on a day/time that works for you. Just be sure to maintain the recommended minimum of at least 6 ft. of social distancing while adhering to local regulations.
