Description
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RACE
These are difficult times. COVID-19 is effecting people all over the world and is impacting all of our daily lives and those of our loved ones. We want to provide an outlet for people to stay active, healthy, safe, and competitive if they choose to be, during this difficult situation.The Virtual Race gives you the flexibility to be an athlete on your own time, at your own pace, and in your own space.
Regardless of your fitness level, we hope you join us in supporting our local businesses and community with this Virtual 1mile, 5k and 10k. While this is an individual activity, we will all overcome this together.
WHERE AND WHEN
This is a Virtual Run. You can complete the 1 mile virtual run/walk, 5k virtual run/walk or the 10k virtual run/walk between Saturday May 23, 2020 - Sunday, June 7, 2020 anywhere you like, your favorite running route, on the treadmill, on the track, on trails, in your local area, or anywhere else, as long as you maintain the recommended minimum of at least six feet of social distancing and local regulations. You have the flexibility and convenience of running it at any time of day and at your own pace.

$30 : May 23 - June 6, 2020
SWAG
- Custom Medal to all registrants.
- You will be able to download a bib number if you would like
- You will be able to download a completion certificate too.
- Medals will be shipped to the address that was used to register (continental USA only).
RESULTS
Virtual Results : All results will be user/self-submitted and automatically updated periodically throughout each day of the event. You can submit in one of the following ways:
Multiple submissions : You are allowed to submit your results multiple times during the race period. Only your most recent submission will be saved; any new submissions will overwrite your previous results!
AWARDS
There will be no awards for this race but every registrant will receive a certificate and medal!

You have the choice of two medals (pick 1 per runner). You can pick the Paw Medal or the Coronacation 2020 bottle opener medal.
Bucks County SPCA
We are making a donation to the Bucks County SPCA and supporting local small businesses in our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Bucks County SPCA assists animals in need and prevents suffering through rescue, re-homing, cruelty investigation and prosecution, and community outreach.
With our community’s support we have grown and expanded, now operating two open-admission, no-time-limit shelters in Lahaska and Quakertown. We also provide extensive humane investigation and education programs. The Bucks County SPCA works to keep animals in their homes and out of the shelter system by offering temporary boarding for pets referred by a social service agency during emergencies and donating pet supplies to food pantries. We are an independent locally-supported nonprofit, and not part of a national organization or county government.

ADDITIONAL COMPETITION
As a little something extra, we’ve enlisted some local small businesses to help us with a photo contest. Look through our business directory, like their page on social media and then find creative and eye catching ways to send them some love, take a picture and tag the business and #sitstaysupportsmall .
You can make a sign and take a picture outside the shop, take a picture of your takeout order, do a blast from the past photo of your favorite memory there, anything to get their attention and the owner of the business will select a winner of their promotion.

We will pick the winners by June 10, 2020 and inform the winners via email or phone. All decisions are final.

- Joe Dantone Photography is offering $50 off of a family session which will be valid for 1 year after the event. (Our offer is valid for 1 year after the event. The gift certificate can be used for a family session, but cannot be used towards the purchase of products.)
