The Victory 5K 2020 is our 5th year! That’s 5 years running!
This event is a joint venture between Bethlehem Baptist Church of Ruff Creek and Rolling Meadows Church of God. We seek to bring Christ to the community through fun, fitness and fellowship.
The 2020 event benefits Crisis Pregnancy Center of Greene County. This 501(c)(3) organization provides help to those facing an unplanned pregnancy while protecting the life of the unborn. Their services include providing much needed infant and toddler care supplies, counseling, infant care education and more.
Bring your non-expired, non-perishable food items to the event food drive. You will receive a raffle ticket for each item donated. The food drive prize will be drawn after the awards ceremony. All collected food items will go to Corner Cupboard Food Bank, Inc.
Stick around after the races for some family fun including music, food and children's activities. We will be selling tickets for raffle prizes and have a chicken roast. COME FOR THE RUN! STAY FOR THE FUN!
AWARDS: Top three overall male and female runners and walkers for the 5K, top three male and female runners and walkers in each age group of the 5K, top three male and female registered participants of the Children's Challenge Mile Run, age groups up to 6 and 7 to 12. Sleep-In option available.
Due to the COVID-19 shutdown in the recent months sponsorship has been slow. The Victory 5K wants to provide each registered participant with a giveaway while remaining an effective fundraiser. We are offering custom printed bandanas instead of shirts for this year's event.
COVID-19 safety precautions will be taken during this event. Hand sanitizer will be provided and social distancing will be practiced and encouraged. Please DO NOT attend or participate if you're feeling sick or a member of your household is sick. Please respect the personal space of others. Attend or participate at your own risk.
All participants for either the 5K or MILE RUN are participating at their own risk.
This is a RAIN or SHINE event. NO REFUNDS.
