Dr. Mary's Legacy Run

Community Volunteers in Medicine welcomes community members, patients, volunteers, and all who want to honor Dr. Mary Wirshup to the 5k Run/Walk/Family Fun Day. For those who wish to honor Dr. Mary, creative costumes are encouraged but not required!  Prizes will be awarded to runners in several categories including best costume and best team costume.

The proceeds from this event will benefit the Dr. Mary Brennan Wirshup Endowment Fund at CVIM. This endowment aims to create long-term sustainable funding for one of the most critical positions at CVIM – our Medical Director. The endowment honors Dr. Mary’s legacy as a friend to every patient and volunteer, a passionate advocate for healthcare access for all, and an extraordinarily skilled, compassionate physician. 

All event costs will be covered by a friend.

CVIM provides free, high quality healthcare to uninsured working people with low incomes to help them live healthy, productive lives and to assure health equity in the Chester County Region.
