It's been a tough spring. I hope everyone is training hard and staying healthy. The 3200 has always been the premier event of the Henderson Invitational. We've decided to offer a virtual option. You sign up. Make sure you list your school or running group. When you sign up, RSU will send you an email explaining how you post your results. Then, just go out and run 3200m(1.99 miles on your GPS). After you finish, post your results. We'll give you a window of Wednesday-Sunday to run the "race". I would suggest picking the best weather day. I know most people won't be able to get on the track. That's OK. Just run what course you can.
This will be done on the honor system. No need to send GPS proof of your performance. Distance runners, by their nature, are honest people. There won't be any awards. Just a chance to show that you've been training during the pandemic. We may have something for the coach who has the most athletes involved in this.
This is a free event. Good luck and stay safe!
