Wyoming Valley Children's Association Virtual 5K Run/1-mile walk

Please join us the weekend of Friday, September 11th through Monday, September 13th, 2020 to raise funds for the Wyoming Valley Children's Association!

About the Wyoming Valley Children's Association:  "WVCA is a very special school and non-profit organization located in Forty Fort, PA. WVCA believes in every child’s unique potential and strives to minimize and/or eliminate the effects of developmental delays through therapeutic services and quality education. By serving all children, WVCA creates an inclusive environment for children to discover, create and develop into curious learners and compassionate citizens. WVCA serves children in the Wyoming Valley community from birth to age six, with a variety of developmental conditions as well as typically developing children. The funds raised from this virtual run will be used to help fund WVCA’s diverse programs and ensure that the school can continue to keep tuition affordable for families and offer scholarship assistance."   

WVCA’s Mission Statement:  Wyoming Valley Children's Association (WVCA) provides the highest quality early childhood education to ensure the greatest developmental potential of ALL children in partnership with families, including therapeutic and support services as needed.

Gift cards to area small businesses will be provided as prizes for our age group winners as well as participants at random.  Top male/female for the following age groups will receive a prize:  18 and under, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75+.  Run result data must be submitted to runwbresults@gmail.com by midnight on Sunday, September 13th to be eligible for a prize.
