The Center for Loss and Bereavement is a unique, leading comprehensive grief center in the greater Philadelphia region, situated in the heart of Montgomery County. We were founded over 26 years ago and have become a highly regarded, critical resource to thousands of people as the only non-profit center in the region that offers professional grief counseling and comprehensive peer support groups for all ages in one independent, publicly-funded community organization.
How to Get Involved
- Walk or run with us at our family-friendly event. There are options for an in-person kids run and chip-timed 5K or a virtual option to run anytime/anywhere!
- Become a fundraiser. Set an individual fundraising goal or become a Team Captain and ask your friends and family to support you as you run for a good cause.
- Become a sponsor. Help us make the 5K a great experience for the participants while receiving exclusive sponsor benefits.
- Make a donation. Can't participate this year? You can make a one-time donation to help us reach our fundraising goal.
- Volunteer. If you'd like to donate some time and assist as an event volunteer, e-mail Jamie at jl@bereavementcenter.org for more information.
Welcome to the 6th Annual Strides of Hope 5K Run/Walk!
This event will help raise funds for The Center for Loss and Bereavement. For 26 years, The Center for Loss and Bereavement has served our community as a non-profit organization that provides professional counseling, support services, and education for families, individuals, and organizations dealing with loss and grief. Located in Skippack Village in Montgomery County, the Center offers a warm and safe atmosphere that allows for expressing and exploring those thoughts and emotions associated with the grief process.
