When is packet pickup?
Friday, September 21 – 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM at Fleet Feet Sports
Saturday, September 22 – 8:30 AM – Start Line Area, a short walk from the parking area (100 Airside Business Park)
Is this a timed race?
The 5K race will be timed. The 2-Mile race is just for fun and will not be timed.
Are there awards?
There are awards and finisher medals for the 5K race. The top three male and female finishers will receive Overall Place Awards and all other finishers will receive Finisher Medals.
There are no awards for the 2-Mile fun run.
I can no longer participate. Can I get a refund?
The PIT FlyBy 5K does not offer refunds or deferments. However, you may transfer your registration to another person as either a gift, or for a partial refund
How do I transfer my registration to another runner?
You may transfer the registration, through your RunSignUp account, either as a gift or for a refund. There is a fee of $5 to complete either transfer type, paid by the original registrant.
Transfer as Gift
If you choose to gift the registration, the new participant will not pay a registration fee for the race, and you will receive not receive a refund through RunSignUp.
Transfer for a Refund
If you choose to transfer for a refund, you will receive your original registration fee minus the $5 transfer fee. The new participant will pay the current registration rate.

2. Click on the "Profile" link in the upper right corner
3. Click on the blue "My Registered Races" button in the lower left column
4. Click on the link to "Manage Registration" in your PIT FlyBy 5K registration
5. Click on the blue "Transfer to Another Runner" button in the left hand column and follow the prompts
Can I switch between the 2 Mile and the 5K?
You can switch your event through your RunSignUp Account.
There is no fee to switch your event, but you will need to pay the any difference in registration costs. There are no refunds if you transfer to a less expensive race.

May I run with a stroller?
Yes, you may use a stroller on the course.
Please note: both the runner and the child in the stroller must be registered for the event. There is no age minimum to participate in the race(s).
If my child is registered and I am the adult accompanying them, do I need to register myself too?
Yes. Safety protocols on airport property require that every participant who will be on the tarmac (the course route) must be registered individually.
Is there a spectator area? Can my family can watch me?
There will be a spectator area at the Start/Finish Line. Runners will begin and end their race in the same area, where spectators may remain. Only registered participants will be allowed on the course route.
Can I walk the course?
Yes, you may walk the course, as long as you adhere to the course time limits. The closure of the airport tarmac has a strict deadline and cannot be extended. Participants in the 5K will have a maximum of one hour and 30 minutes to complete the course. Participants in the 2-Mile will have a maximum of 45 minutes to complete the course.
Can I bring my dog?
Due to safety requirements on the airport property, there are no animals allowed on the course or the spectator area, unless it is a service animal.
