Run with your community
Choose your school
The 1-mile Fun Run and student 5K entries require a school or homeschool program. Both-race entries also require school selection. Choose a listed school, or select the homeschool, outside-parish or unlisted-school option and enter its full name. Newly entered school names will be reviewed by the organizers before being added to the shared list. Regular 5K school information is optional.
Student pricing for the 5K and mile is available to ages 5–18 on April 17, 2027. Homeschool and out-of-parish students are welcome. No discount code is needed. Both races have a minimum age of 5.
School participation awards
Registered current students count toward the school competition. Adults, family and other supporters may select a school to support, but do not add to its student total.
School awards are reserved for PVHS feeder schools. The middle-school competition includes Prairieville Middle and Galvez Middle. The eligible primary-school list and complete award-counting rules will be posted when confirmed. Homeschool groups and out-of-parish schools are welcome to participate but are not eligible for these school awards.
School support-group totals are not the official award standings. We use the registration school and student/supporter answers to review eligible student counts.
Bring your 5K team
Create or join an optional 5K team with friends, family, classmates or coworkers. Regular, student and both-race 5K entries can join the same team.
When your team reaches 10 registered members, each member receives a $5 benefit: member 10 and later pay the reduced price, and the first nine receive a $5 refund. The benefit applies once per runner; the mile add-on stays $10. Checkout fees apply.
