Virtual Class
Q. When will I get my supplies?
A. You can pick up your supplies from Servant's Heart Ministry any time after February 1st. If you choose to have your art supplies sent by USPS, they will arrive before the event. Remember, cut-off date is on/before February 26th.
Q. If I use my own supplies, will I get a discount?
A. No, but you do have options! Choose to avoid the added expense of postage and take advantage of group discounts! You can host a painting party in the comfort of your home with discounts for you and your guests. Create, encourage and have fun together while knowing that your registration donation is sustaining families in Central Florida. (See group discounts on the Event Info tab.)
Q. What art supplies do I need?
A. See the Art Supply tab under Event Info for a detailed list. Our goal is to ensure you have a relaxing experience!
Q. What should I do if I am hosting a group?
- Create a team/group with a name e.g. Patty's Pajama Paint Party
- Invite your friends to register under your group. (This option is part of the registration process.)
- Explain that all party members will receive an automatic discount once the last person for your size group registers.
- See party discounts under Event Info.
- Provide your guests with a communal viewing of the Zoom Tutorial e.g. smart T.V. See Art Supplies for additional information
Q. What should I do before the class?
A. All solo and group registrants should follow Preparation Instructions to be ready to begin painting with Yong Chen at 10.00 AM.
Q. What about a Zoom Access code to connect the the Live Event?
A. You will receive a Zoom Access code by email with your registration conformation. Another will be sent to you 24 hours before the Live Event. Make sure to test your technology. Log on to the Zoom class 15 minutes early. Instructions for downloading Zoom app will be included in the email.
In-Person
Q. Should I arrive early to the in-person class?
A. Yes! If you can be in your seat before 9:30 A.M. it will ensure a wonderful relaxing experience!
Q. Will someone show me what to do?
A. Yes! Someone will explain how you are to sketch the outline in preparation for painting.
Q. How long is the lesson?
A. Professor Yong will tutor us for approximately 90 minutes. However you can stay as long as you need to finish your painting. Our goal is that you have a happy and fulfilling experience.
Q. What if I'm late?
A. No worries! Someone will be there to help you catch up. We want you to have a good time!
Q. What if I want to tour the Servant's Heart Distribution Center?
A. A tour of the SHDC has been scheduled for 12.00 P.M. noon. Servant's Heart is located less than 0.5 mile from Pine Castle Woman's Club.
