Sponsorship Opportunities:
On October 9, 2022, Awake the Lake will hold its 8th Annual PALMER LAKE .5K (Yes “Point” 5)! where we “run” over the Palmer Lake Pedestrian Bridge, which prior PALMER LAKE .5K events helped to fund. This return to form presents a great sponsorship and advertising opportunity! The “run for the rest of us” is a not-so-challenging entire ½ kilometer sprint (or lope, or walk, or crawl), where competitors are rewarded not only with the unique views of beautiful Palmer Lake, Colorado in autumn, but also a donut in the middle, and a (coupon for a) beer/soda at the finish line. We have the following sponsorship opportunities for you to consider:
Gold Sponsor – $1,000 minimum:
Silver Sponsor – $500 minimum:
Bronze Sponsor – $250 minimum:
Friend of ATL - $100 minimum:
In-Kind Sponsorship: Donations for soda/root beer, beer, donuts, prize swag, etc. are gladly accepted, and sponsorship status can be provided for such in-kind sponsorship at one level less than a cash sponsorship of equivalent value (i.e. $250 of beverage donations = Bronze Sponsor).
Not only do you get all the benefits above for being a sponsor, plus community good will for your name, but you’ll sleep better at night knowing that YOU helped fund the bridge connecting the Town of Palmer Lake to its name sake Lake and parks, and other great projects to enhance Palmer Lake and the surrounding parklands!
*Race T-Shirt logo sizing may be increased or decreased, proportionally to sponsorship level, as necessary for t-shirt printing/layout, depending on the number of sponsors, in the discretion of the Awake the Lake .5K race committee.
This event benefits the Palmer Lake Restoration Project (a/k/a Awake the Lake – Awake Palmer Lake), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, dedicated to improvement and maintenance of Palmer Lake itself, and the parks that surround it, while maintaining the unique small-town character of Palmer Lake that we all know and love.
This year we are focusing our fundraising on funds needed for completion of landscaping surrounding the newly constructed pedestrian bridge, as well as raising matching funds for a 2nd “continuation grant” from Great Outdoors Colorado (“GOCO”) grant for which we plan to apply in 2020 to continue work in Centennial Park, including improvements to ball fields. Join us in sponsoring this fun and memorable local favorite, all for a great cause. More information available at our “race” registration page and at www.awakepalmerlake.org.
