Palos Meltdown Map - Juniors / Novice / Sport / Comp / Expert - 2024
Here's the map from 2024 to give you an idea of what to expect. Keep in mind, we're planning some significant changes to the course for 2025 (that we think you're going to love).
We will publish the 2025 course maps about 1-2 weeks prior to race day. This is done to keep the trails safer in the weeks and months leading up to the race, and to make it more competitive for out-of-town racers.
IMPORTANT: Course maps are published for informational purposes only, for registered racers only. Cook County Forest Preserve rules prohibit speed training outside of the scheduled race day. All trails at Palos are two-way and open to multiple user groups including cyclists, runners, hikers, and equestrians. EXPECT THE TRAILS TO BE BUSY DURING THE RUN-UP TO THE RACE, INCLUDING TRAIL WORKERS WITH EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY ON THE TRAIL. NON-RACE TRAFFIC SHOULD AVOID THE TRAILS ON RACE DAY FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL.
Please check conditions on Trailbot or at https://www.cambr.org/trails_and_conditions.php before riding.
