Hawk Island Park

Hawk Island County Park is a 100 acre park, located on Cavanaugh Road, between Pennsylvania Avenue and Aurelius Road, in south Lansing. Enjoy the 12 foot wide by 1.5 miles long, paved, non-motorized pathway encircling the Hawk Island Lake. This trail joins the main Lansing River Trail at Potter Park by way of the River Trail South spur. The Hawk Island Park trail connects with Scott Woods Park (City of Lansing Park), home to 100 acres of spectacular forest with unpaved trails.

Hours:
The park opens one half hour before sunrise for pedestrian access and 8:00am for vehicle access. The park closes one half hour after sunset, unless otherwise posted.

Free when presenting the Park Escape bib from May 20-May 27, 2021
