Frequently Asked Questions
2025 EVENT UPDATES
Why are you moving the location?
While we loved our time at High Plains Raceway, our ultimate goal was to bring our event closer to home. Our two overarching Pedal 4 Possible goals have always been to provide a safe ride and a successful fundraising event. After some feedback, we decided to keep the safety of the closed track but find a new venue closer to the Denver metro area. This led us to the Colorado State Patrol Academy Track!
Why a relay?
This track is a 1.4 mile loop—to keep it interesting and fun, we're excited to have you team up together and participate on relay teams. The relay is yours to make it what you wish—depending on your distance goal, you can determine how many laps you do within your own relay team. So if you only want to do one lap, but your teammate wants to do three, the choice is yours!
What about safety?
The best part of P4P: At the Raceway is what will be missing—the cars! You’ll be able to ride without worrying about course maps, navigating traffic signals and railroad crossings, and all the typical road ride concerns. We will continue to provide an epic post-ride party with food, music, and beer. And as always, we will have medical personnel and ambulances on standby (not that you’re likely to need them).
Can I still earn a jersey?
Earning the yearly P4P jersey is an important tradition for many of our riders, and that won’t change! This year, we're excited to offer anyone who raises $500 or more custom jerseys and active shirt from local and beloved cycling outfitter, Primal!
Why did prices increase?
To keep up with rising costs, we’ve made a small update to our prices. Your support means the world to us, and we’re so grateful to have you with us!
Will you still need volunteers?
Yes! We will need many volunteers in a variety of capacities, from check-in to cheerleading. As our plans develop, we will determine our volunteer roles. Keep an eye on the website for details about the ways you can help.
How can my company or organization sponsor P4P?
Pedal 4 Possible’s new format offers many opportunities for your company to support our important philanthropic mission while receiving marketing exposure. For a list of sponsorship opportunities, contact Caroline Craven, Director of Sponsorship & Engagement, at ccraven@craighospital.org or 303-789-8578.

How many people do we need to make up a relay team? Can I participate by myself?
Teams have a minimum of 3 riders and a cap of 4 riders. Have more than 4 friends to ride with? That's awesome! You are welcome to create multiple relay teams and participate together.
If you need a team to join, reach out to us, and we'll do our best to get you matched up with a team, but we can't guarantee spots.
Do I need to register my child?
Yes. We require riders of all ages* to register.
*If your child is 3 or under and riding a trailer, you do not need to register them. Only children who are riding independently on their own bike need to be registered.
How do I participate virtually?
Celebrate what’s possible from your own homes and neighborhoods by doing any kind of recreational activity. You get to create your own goals and rules!
Make sure you tag your photos and videos of your activity on your own social media accounts using the hashtag #P4P25.
Can I register more than one person at a time?
Yes! You may register multiple participants in one registration payment. Please make sure you have accurate Jersey/Active Shirt sizes.
NOTE: As long as you have used separate emails for each participant, everyone registered will have access to their own personal page in the Fundraising Center.
I registered but now I can't attend. Can I get a refund?
You are permitted to move your registration to another participant, but we cannot offer a refund for any reason
I can't remember my password. How do I reset it?
Navigate to our participant login page, and select “forgot password” and you will be sent an email with a link to reset your password.
LET’S GET SOCIAL!
Is there anywhere I can connect with other participants?
Yes! We have Instagram and Facebook accounts and we’d love for you to follow us! Share your stories, activities, and cheer each other on!
FUNDRAISING & INCENTIVE GIFTS
What is my Fundraising Center and where do I find it?
During your registration, you will have the opportunity to build your fundraising page. After you login, click on the “profile” link in the dropdown menu at the top-right corner of the page. Once there, you’ll see links to edit your fundraiser, view donations, and send emails. Our 2023 Fundraising Guide walks through using your Fundraising Center. Check it out for additional tips and tricks to help you maximize your fundraising efforts!
Am I required to fundraise in order to participate?
Fundraising is not required, but we strongly encourage each participant to raise money to support patients at Craig. Plus, you'll earn fundraising prizes if you raise $500 or more by November 4!
When you register, you will be asked if you would like to start a fundraiser - this is where you would input your goal and why you are participating, if you wish to fundraise.
What are the fundraising incentive levels and what do I get if I reach them?
We have fundraising incentive gifts at the $500 and $1500 levels! Items are tbd, but check back soon for updates.
I raised $500! When will I receive my jersey or active shirt?
Participants that raise $500 (registration fee not included) by August 20 will receive their jersey or dri-fit top before the event. Jerseys and active shirt earned after August 20 will be mailed several weeks after the event. Participants may continue to fundraise until November 4
What are the jersey and active shirt size options?
Please see the chart on Primal's sizing page for measurements.
What if my jersey or active shirt doesn't fit?
We recommend double-checking the size chart before submitting your size. Jerseys and dri-fit tops cannot be traded for different sizes after November 4.
EVENT LOGISTICS & COURSE INFORMATION
What are the recommended distances for the relay?
You and your team of 3–4 riders will work together to go the distance—either a Half Marathon (13.1 miles) or a 10K (6.2 miles). The number of laps is up to you! Divide them equally or mix it up—make it your own!
It’s all about teamwork, effort, and FUN! Whether you’re in it to crush your goal or just enjoy the ride, you’ll be part of something powerful: a cycling community riding in support of patients and programs at Craig Hospital.
Are there any sharp turns on the track?
There are no sharp turns, the track is relatively flat and rides similar to a road course - it does not have banks on any turns.
Can my child ride in a trailer?
Bike trailers and trailer bikes (also known by the brand name Trail-a-Bike) are welcome on all courses.
Will there be aid stations?
Yes! We will have a centrally located aid station at homebase.

When and where is packet pick-up?

Tell me about the party!
We'll have a complimentary post-ride party from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. with a DJ, lawn games, food and beer (bring your ID!).
Can I bring friends and family?
We love cheerleaders at the start/finish line! If friends and family are interested in being on the course, please have them register to volunteer for the event.
