-Port-a-Johns will be at the Expo (start/finish) and at approximately miles 3.2 and 12.2 on the course. (5k miles .9 and 2.2 / 10k miles .9 and 5.3)
-5k course will not have any water station.
-10k runners will encounter two aid stations outbound and then again on the return for a total of FOUR passes. They are at approximately miles 2, 2.9, 3.3 and 4.2.
-Half Marathon runners will pass water stations FIVE times at approximately miles 2.5, 4.5, 7.6, 10.2, & 11 with water and Gatorade. GELS will be available by request at the southernmost aid station approximately miles 7.6 and 10.2
-All distances contain OUT and BACK sections, which means runners need to stay to the right to avoid oncoming racers.
Half Marathon Course Cutoff
The Half Marathon finish line closes at 11:10 AM, which is 3 hours 10 minutes after the regular 8:000 AM start.
Half Marathon participants who reach the aid station at approximately mile 7.6 after 9:50 AM may be directed to turn around at that location and return to the finish rather than continuing to the full Half Marathon turnaround.
This early turnaround is used so participants can return to the finish area on their own before the course closes. Runners who are turned around early will not receive an official Half Marathon finish result.
Participants who expect to need more than 3 hours 10 minutes to complete the Half Marathon should use the 5:30 AM early start and follow the early-start instructions listed on the Race Day Schedule page.
Dogs and Strollers:
-Dogs are welcome at the Spring race. We do ask that you keep dogs on a short leash and you start near the back or off to the side.
-Strollers are welcome at the Spring race. We do ask that you start near the back or off to the side. The half marathon course DOES have some tricky spots that strollers might struggle with. A specific jogging stroller would be recommended for the half. Traditional strollers would be fine for the 10k or 5k.
