Yes, If they have permission from you sent to them via an email or text to them. You can do a handwritten note as well to them.
Yes, We allow dogs as long as they are on a leash and start in the back of the starting pack to protect against your dog being tripped on hurting your dog and or racer who may trip on them.
Yes, high end full color 4" finisher medal and nicer than tech race shirt.
Yes, just be aware this course is an open course and cars are driving near you.
Yes, however there is a $10 fee on top of your late charge. We strongly encourage to register the day prior online. We love all racers but same day registration is truly a challenge for race companies. We may not have the supplies we need for a successful race when same day people come. We may be short on shirts, medals, bus seats etc. It is a challenge with race data as well. Often the timing system is already preloaded. If this is the case we will often give you a bib with the name Late Registration, Female at 99 years old so you do not accidentially take someone elses award. We can switch your data once you finish but often the starting system is in another location than the finish and will not be able to be edited until post race. If you are concerned you may not be healthy or injured check out Race Insurance and buy your bib early. For only 8.1% of your race fee you will be insured against several situations including sickness or injury.
If you contact us BEFORE the race, we can switch your registration to virtual and send you your Tshirt and finisher's medal to you. If you contact us ON THE DAY OF or AFTER THE RACE, we can send you your Tshirt/medal for a $15 shipping charge.
Our sincerest apologies, but we do no refunds due to fees that accrue with registering for the race (Tshirts, timing bib, finisher's medal, etc); the option that would have given a full refund is if you paid for race insurance during registration...race insurance covers things like health and medical issues. If you did not pay for race insurance, the only option is the deferral or transfer policy.
For extreme weather, yes. This means dangerous weather, like flash flood, lightning, or winter storm warning. If it is snowy no. We can run in the snow. However, for safety, we change the course if the road is covered in snow to a 5K that we repeat. It is very rare that a race is ever cancelled. Tough thing about racing is you may have sunshine and flowers or rain. Being outdoors you have about a 98% in utah it will be awesome.
Codes can only be created for $25+ credit or more.
We cannot do smaller volunteer codes under $25, and all volunteer codes must be whole numbers like $25 or $50, not $25.50 or $35.87.
When codes are created, they are created for only one person to use at a time, and only one use.
Once a code is used, it is not able to be used again.
We offer race insurance at only 8.1% of race fees that would cover things like this until race day. It is a third party company so you get your money and we do not lose money on having to purchase all your race swag.
At this point we have you running even if you don't show up. The only other option at this point is you give or sell your bib to someone else. Wish we could do more. 3/4 of your race fees goes to your race and those have already been spent at this point in the race.
We have one of the more generous policies in the industry as to deferrals and transfers. We do our best to help people if it means we do not lose money.
Yes, approximately every two miles as well.
