Queen of Prussia 10K FAQs
1. What does my entry include?
A short sleeve unisex tee
Royal Finisher's Medal
Additional Goodies from our sponsors
QOP 5K/10K Custom Race Bib and Finisher's Certificate that includes your name and finishing time
QOP 5K/10K Coaching Sessions and Women's Specific Wellness topics to help with your training and get you to your finish line
2. How will I get my Swag?
We will host the QOP10K Health and Wellness Expo presented by Main Line Health on September 9, 2023 from 10-3pm. The expo will be held at Main Line Health in Town Center KOP. If you are running the Virtual Race, and cannot pick up your packet in person, you can "add on" shipping at time of registration to have it shipped to you for $15.
3. Will 2023 be a live race?
We are offering both in person and virtual options, so our participants can choose what makes them most comfortable. We're excited to announce that we will include a 5K again this year and Kids Fun Run presented by Nemours Children's Health. We are currently following CDC & local guidelines regarding special events as well as USATF safety standards.
4. What if I choose the "Live" option, but then want to switch to "Virtual", or registered for the 5K and want to switch to the 10K?
This is totally fine, and we are flexible if you'd like to change from live to virtual. For distance changes, it will depend on availability in that race.
5. What if state and local jurisdictions are not allowing "Live" events of this size when we get closer to September bc of a spike in Covid numbers?
If it is not safe to hold the race in person, we will pivot to an all "virtual" experience like we did in 2020.
6. What charity does the race support?
Our charitable partner is Girls on The Run.
7. Where can I view my results after the race?
Your results will be available at the finish line and on our website following the race. You can also receive a printed result upon request at the finish line timer tent.
8. Are deferrals permitted?
We allow a one time deferral for injury or medical reason. Please submit a note from your doctor or PT to defer. All deferral requests must be submitted by August 1, 2023. Additionally, if you are feeling sick and need to stay home, we will allow a one time deferral as long as you let us know before the race starts.
9. Are you accepting new partnerships for 2023?
Yes! We love discussing partnerships and getting creative with partners that are a good fit for our community. Reach out to our Race Director, Barb McKeever, at bmckeever8@gmail.com.
